Other People’s Stuff
This is where I will share content that is not my own.
Links, blogs, video, images… whatever strikes me as needing or deserving a wider audience.
My promise to you:
I will never pitch products or programs I haven’t personally tried or don’t wholeheartedly believe in.
It hurts me for you to waste your time, money, or other resources on things that don’t enrich your life.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the ‘why’ matters.
I’m a fan of setting goals and going after them, but I also think that most goal-setting gets done… backwards. Danelle LaPorte has taken the time and put the effort into creating workbooks to help us do what I’ve always conceptually thought we should do: figure out what we want on the inside (the ‘whys’) and then set our goals accordingly (the ‘whats’).
Ever gotten to a place in your life and just didn’t know what to do or where to go next? These workbooks are also super-helpful in clarifying what you really want so that you don’t ever feel rudderless. It’s beautifully empowering.
If you’re looking for a place to start, that would be The Desire Map. Once you have clarity in that arena, the Fire Starter Sessions should get you revved up! (I’d also recommend the Desire Map Journal and 2015 Day Planner for us tactile- or visual-learners. Very good stuff!)
The books are also available in electronic versions — there’s no excuse not to jump on this.
But wait! There’s more!
As a tactile- and visual-learner, I love visual reminders and physical actions that reinforce my intentions. #Truthbombs and temporary #tattoos help me focus my attention and keep me moving in the right direction. If these would help you, too, Danielle will send them right to your door.
I love Moo. From business cards to promotional materials, I’ve used them over and over again, and have never been disappointed.
If you’re looking to up your business card game, check out Moo.com << Did I mention you get 10% off with this link? That’s because I love you, too.
Was feeling a little beaten-down…then stumbled upon this video.
It’s a motivational video that kind of puts some things back into perspective. Definitely worth sharing.
