Other People’s Stuff

This is where I will share content that is not my own.

Links, blogs, video, images… whatever strikes me as needing or deserving a wider audience.

My promise to you:

I will never pitch products or programs I haven’t personally tried or don’t wholeheartedly believe in.

It hurts me for you to waste your time, money, or other resources on things that don’t enrich your life.

Desire Map + Fire Starter Sessions

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the ‘why’ matters.

I’m a fan of setting goals and going after them, but I also think that most goal-setting gets done… backwards.  Danelle LaPorte has taken the time and put the effort into creating workbooks to help us do what I’ve always conceptually thought we should do: figure out what we want on the inside (the ‘whys’) and then set our goals accordingly (the ‘whats’).

Ever gotten to a place in your life and just didn’t know what to do or where to go next?  These workbooks are also super-helpful in clarifying what you really want so that you don’t ever feel rudderless.   It’s beautifully empowering.

Go get yours.

If you’re looking for a place to start, that would be The Desire Map.  Once you have clarity in that arena, the Fire Starter Sessions should get you revved up!  (I’d also recommend the Desire Map Journal and 2015 Day Planner for us tactile- or visual-learners.  Very good stuff!)

The books are also available in electronic versions — there’s no excuse not to jump on this.

But wait!  There’s more!

As a tactile- and visual-learner, I love visual reminders and physical actions that reinforce my intentions.  #Truthbombs and temporary #tattoos help me focus my attention and keep me moving in the right direction.  If these would help you, too, Danielle will send them right to your door.

Pimp Your Visuals

Even though I wouldn’t call myself “non-techy,” I took the Worksheet & PDF Design Class for non-techy entrepreneurs, and yeah — I knew about 70% of the things covered — but the 30% of new material was well worth the price of admission!  Was it simple?  You bet, and just imagine how valuable this class would be for anyone who could benefit from 50%+ of it?!

Take some of the fear out of designing your own materials from scratch and make real progress on that brochure/menu/infographic/letterhead/flyer you want to create.

Declutter Clinic

Get free of your junk. Get on with your life.

Sign up today — next session begins on May 1, 2015

A program that shows you how to declutter your entire home in 4 weeks.  <<  Worth its weight in gold (Warren & Betsy are delightful people, too)!

Plus, you’ll likely make more than the price of admission once you sell the stuff you’re getting rid of.  It’s a win-win!

Was feeling a little beaten-down…then stumbled upon this video.

It’s a motivational video that kind of puts some things back into perspective.  Definitely worth sharing.
